Prin ted Electronics is used to produce electronic device and electronic goods using printing processing method with conductive ink or
functional ink. In other words, printed electronics can replace etching method which is conventional processing, and have advantage of cost
down, mass production, simplification of processing, flexibility and eco-friendly.
Key technology of printed electronics can be classified into the aspect of material and processing methods. Metal((Ag, Cu, Al, Au), Polymer,
CNT, Carbon/Graphene, Dielectric are used for materials of printed electronics. Range of use is extended to Nanoparticle and Nano-wire as
material technology develops in recent years. In processing method of printed electronics, this largely divides into contact(Analog-R2R)
and non-contact(Digital-Inkjet) method. Contact method is best for high-volume production but low precision work, and non-contact method
is suitable for making complex shape to small volume but low-volume production due to low printing sped. Accordingly, optimized element
production is available by selectively applying material and processing method allows as necessary.
Printed Electronics technology is essential for construction of flexible display technology and development of IoT industry to
develop through fusion with other industries. Accordingly, diverse display and process technology has made rapid progress
in recent years.
Ixax has developed Conductive Ink and Conductive Paste based on accumulated combination technology with supply chemical
materials to the field of display since its establishment. In addition to R2R processing facility, we have own facilities in which
mass production is available other than.
- General conductive paste is composed of metal, binder and vehicle, but Exax’s conductive paste uses metal ink instead of vehicle, so particle becomes less without evaporation for plastic, and replaced to silver which has high density and low resistance and conductivity is relatively high.
